Therapeutic yoga

60-minute class

Look deeper. Work towards the root.

Therapeutic yoga adapts the practice to the person—their needs, experience, energy and goals. Our aim is to look beyond temporary relief at the surface and explore the contributing factors beneath the problem: movement habits, breathing patterns, stress and daily routines. Through the pancha kosha approach, we work across these connected layers rather than focusing on symptoms alone.

About this class

Who it’s for

For people seeking a practice shaped around their health concerns, stress, movement limitations or individual needs.

Why this practice

My approach looks beyond surface symptoms to contributing patterns in movement, breath, stress and daily life. Healing through layers means considering the person as a whole.

How I teach it

We begin with a conversation and a private health questionnaire. Practice draws on the pancha koshas: body, breath, mind, understanding and inner wellbeing. Therapeutic 1:1 sessions include 20 minutes of nervous reset and foot massage relaxation.

The pancha koshas

The five koshas are a traditional framework for exploring different layers of experience, not a medical diagnosis.

  • Annamaya: physical body—movement, nourishment and rest.
  • Pranamaya: breath and vitality—awareness of breathing and energy.
  • Manomaya: mind and emotions—attention, feelings and habitual responses.
  • Vijnanamaya: understanding—reflection, discernment and self-awareness.
  • Anandamaya: inner ease, meaning and joy.

Your therapeutic 1:1

We begin by discussing what brings you here and reviewing a separate health questionnaire. The practice is adapted to you. Therapeutic 1:1 sessions include 20 minutes of nervous reset and foot massage relaxation.
